The short version
PWC Simulator does not collect any player data. No accounts, no analytics, no telemetry, no ads, and no tracking. What you do in the game stays on your computer.
The game
- We don't collect gameplay data, usage data, device information, or personal information from players.
- Settings, mods, and saved files are stored on your own device.
- Multiplayer needs a network connection to the server you join, so your device connects to that server to play. We don't collect or store that information ourselves.
- Servers hosted by other people (including rented servers) are run by those hosts, and they may have their own rules and practices. Join at your own discretion.
Steam
PWC Simulator is distributed through Steam. Purchases, your Steam account, playtest access, and anything else handled by Steam are governed by Valve's Privacy Policy. We don't receive your personal information from Steam.
This website
This website doesn't use cookies, analytics, or advertising trackers. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs for security and reliability, which we don't use to identify visitors.
Active Racers application
This is the only place we collect personal information. If you submit the Active Racers application, we receive the details you enter (your name, email or Instagram handle, racing experience, age group, height and weight if you choose to give them (used only to size your in-game rider), notes, and any photos you upload; for riders under 18, a parent or guardian's name, email, and signature).
- It's sent to a private Discord channel and used only to review your application and follow up with you.
- We don't sell or share it, and we don't use it for marketing.
- Discord processes it under its own privacy policy.
- You can ask us to delete your application at any time by emailing [email protected].
Children
We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. Racers under 13 can't apply, and applicants under 18 need a parent or legal guardian's approval.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If we ever begin collecting player data, we'll update this policy before we do.
